Introducing Ubuntu Desktop 18.04

We are happy to introduce Ubuntu 18.04 Desktop AMI product, which is the most versatile and most user friendly desktop image we have introduced so far. Comparing to the previous Ubuntu desktop AMI products, it has the following features
  • Support RDP protocol and multiple concurrent user sessions over RDP
  • Support HTTPS secure connection over web browser
  • Support automatic desktop resizing for browser sessions and VNC sessions.
  • Support Gnome 3/Ubuntu desktop, Lubuntu and Xubuntu, where Xubuntu is the default. Like previous products, you can freely switch desktop among them.
