Introducing Ubuntu Desktop 22.04!

Postby jsun » Thu Sep 08, 2022 6:23 pm

We are very delighted to introduce Ubuntu Desktop 22.04 AMI products! In this release, we decided to keep all the cool features our users love, including HTTP/VNC/RDP access, secure connections, desktop auto-resizing, copy'n'paste, RDP audio, etc. We also decided to simplify the desktop choices with the default Ubuntu Unity Desktop.

Please check them out at https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/p ... 5gpkye3rhg for x86_64 version and https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/p ... l6yxxk4ppq for arm64 version.

We also take this chance to announce that, after so many successful years, we decided to retire some old versions, including our very first Ubuntu Desktop 14.04 and Ubuntu Desktop 16.04.
